Want to lose your name in the Klein Karoo?
Our “Lost and Found” wall is a fundraising project in support of the only old age home in Calitzdorp, being Vygieshof.
For a donation of R250 per name you too can lose your name at Zamani Grill, home to “The Smallest Bar in the Klein Karoo” for the good cause of honouring and supporting our elderly citizens.
Once you have paid your donation, you can choose a spot on the wall where your name must be placed as well as share your contact details with the manager on duty. Gielie shall then make your name from wire which will be treated with a special rusting agent to give your name a rusty look. (This process might take up to 10 days, so please be patient.) Once your name is put on the wall you shall receive a certificate as proof of your loss.
Terms and conditions:
- Only 1st person names are allowed.
- No made-up names.
- No surnames, group names, company names or acronyms are allowed.
- Combined names like “Gielie&Annalize” shall be 2x R250.
- The idea is to raise funds for Vygieshof and to connect your personal name to the cause and not to have a marketing exercise for your family-name, business or sports club.
Annalize and Gielie are the custodians of the “Lost and Found Fund” and the funds are managed and distributed by them. In short and for your peace of mind:
- No deductions shall be made from your donation.
- Vygieshof shall receive a monthly email to indicate the current value of their fund.
- Annalize/Gielie will work with a representative of the organisation to ensure that the funds are used for the intended purposes.
